Clearing the Decks and Getting Rid of Tolerations

Success Coaching for Women
Name

Busy women like you have learned to put up with, accept, and take on a lot of stressors from the outside world. Little things can pile up, causing fatigue and overwhelm. You could find yourself worn out or exhausted due to other people’s behavior, unrealistic expectations, hurtful words, unmet needs, clutter or disorganization, crossed boundaries, and incompletions.

Tolerations are things that you put up with, but that drain your stores of natural energy, leaving you feeling depleted and therefore less effective in life. A toleration is anything that takes your energy and does not replete you in return. So, what do you put up with?  Please take a couple of minutes to write down the situations in your life that leave you feeling tired and frustrated.  As you think of more items, add them to your list.

Articulating your tolerations will bring them to your awareness so you can start handling, eliminating and resolving these energy drains. The goal is to help you return to your natural state of comfort and calm. And when you clear out what is no longer serving you, you create room for good things to come in the place of what you are eliminating. And once these challenges are defined, we can create an action plan to systematically rid your life of what is no longer working.

WHAT AM I TOLERATING?
Make your list:
Tolerations don't have to be major events. In many cases it's the little things that zap us, keep us from being in the present, waste our time and take us off purpose.
